DR. ADAM ELMEGIRAB’S BITTERS
Hand-made small batch bitters from Scotland.
Established in 2009 as the oldest bartender-owned brand in the United Kingdom, The House of Botanicals in Aberdeen is home to three brands of botanical-based beverages including the House of Botanicals Gins, the Dr. Adam’s Cocktail Bitters portfolio, and the Italian influenced Pietro Nicola range of Aperitivi & Digestivo.
Predominant notes of bitter black tea mingle with all-spice, clove, vanilla, creamy hazelnut, and a hint of citrus all tempered by a soft sweetness.
Initial sweetness followed by predominant chamomile and layers of complex flavor including coriander, raspberry, honey, citrus, and pomegranate.
Spicy clove and warm, sweet baking spice flavors continue into bitter orange and cardamom backed up by dried fruit throughout.
Complex with earthy/woody notes and hints of malt, honey, muscovado, anise, licorice, citrus peel, and ginger.
Winter Spiced
Smoky anise, sweet cranberry, clove, anise, and cacao with hints of burnt orange and complex spice.
Brazilian
Warm baking spice, clove, and tonka with hints of sweet coconut, spicy mace, and flamed cinnamon.
Slightly sweet, bitter, with rich nutty chocolate, sweet vanilla, espresso and fruit cake.
Intensely bitter with cardamom, coffee, and orange.
