Vagabond Series

The Vagabond Series is born out of their love of travel and exploration. Having lived and traveled abroad, Dashfire’s team has enjoyed immersing themselves in unique places that offer up not only different points of view but also new flavors and aromas. The collection below encapsulates their favorite flavors from just a few of the amazing places they’ve been.

Chinese Inspired Bitters

Hints of star anise, galangal, and mandarin rind round out this unique bitter.

Mole

This wonderful chocolate, spicy, and slightly savory bitter was specifically designed to complement tequila and mezcal cocktails but also tastes great with bitter orange Campari cocktails.

Chai’Walla Chai Tea

Made with black tea, ginger juice, cardamom, cinnamon, clove and black pepper, the flavor will transport you straight to the street chai’walla tea vendors of India.

Specialty Bitters

It’s important to have an aromatic bitter in your collection, especially since they are called for in many of the current and classic cocktails. But do you know the differences between aromatic bitters can be just as complex as the flavors they represent? Dashfire offers several aromatics because they know that one does not suit every cocktail recipe and with their variety you are sure to find the perfect one to truly elevate your cocktail.

Vintage Orange Bourbon Barrel Aged No. 1

Fresh orange rind is combined with quality bourbon and select spices, and then aged in a Minnesota-made white oak barrel to incorporate the flavor and sugars of the oak.

Old Fashioned Aromatic

Fall spices, warm and comforting and easy to apply to many cocktails.

Jerry Thomas Decanter

A brighter more citrusy aromatic with elements of clove, raisin, rosemary, and the solid bitterness of gentian root.

Spiced Apple

Expected fall spices are found in this bitter but also more nuanced flavors such as juniper and pink peppercorn.

Mission Fig Fennel

This bitter has the qualities of anise but also the sweetness of fig. With more broody and charismatic complexities.

Classic Creole

Our answer to the classic New Orleans region bitters with sweet notes of currant, pomegranate and the spice of allspice.

Single Flavor Bitters

Bitters are the salt and pepper of the cocktail world and just like a spice cabinet your bitters selection can be as broad as you want it to be. With a wide variety of bitters based on citrus and botanical flavors, you will have more than enough choices and options to work with.

Orange

A bright and fresh orange bitter. Dashfire utilizes fresh orange rind for the aroma and some dry bitter orange for the bitterness with cardamom and a hint of orange flower water that allows this bitter to shine.

Lemon

This lemon bitter is bright, fresh, and ultra pleasant. Fresh rinds are peeled and we take extra special care to fully submerge the rinds during maceration to bring out the freshest and more aromatic qualities of the lemon.

Lime

Lime is also a finicky botanical especially when it is fresh so we take extra care to draw out its finer qualities. If you try our lime bitters you will easily notice a fresh, more aromatic expression due to our use of fresh rind.

Grapefruit

Our grapefruit bitters are made from fresh rind that is hand peeled. We use not only the outer rind but also a percentage of the pith to capture the full flavor and aroma that grapefruit has to offer.

Cardamom

You could use these bitters for: Brandy Crusta, Milk Punch, Old Fashioned, and Daiquiri.
