In 1956 Andre Vanderfven opened a grocery store in Kortrijk, Belgium. He began making his preserves to sell at his little 19th century store. His preserves were such a success, by 1990, his son Thierry expanded the business and began exporting throughout Europe. The secret to their preserves? The finest fruits and sugars, small batch, slow cooking and the the loving hand of their “maitre confiturier”.
